Prime Minister Announce From January till June, All Household Electricity Bill Gets Discount 9%
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin announced that electricity tariffs will be reduced by 9% for 6 months.
All domestic and non-family national energy users can enjoy a discount of 2 cents per kilowatt-hour on electricity bills from January 1 to June 30, which means that electricity bills can be reduced by up to 9% for 6 months.
In addition, from January to March, 6 commercial areas across the country will also receive a special 10% discount on electricity bills, including hotels, theme parks, convention centers, shopping centers, airline offices and travel agencies.
