Pilot Takes On Lorry Job To Make Ends Meet During the Pandemic Period
With the current pandemic are still around, as we all know that the travel or flights business are affected badly, where Captain Izzat Hakimi Izham Nawi flies the commercial passenger plane to domestic locations once a week and on other days he will be driving a lorry transporting furniture throughout the country. The 30 years old has been juggling between the two jobs as his duty as a pilot. Where his current salary as a pilot was cut down to 80% as airline companies are still suffering from the pandemic struck.
He has even tried to become a delivery food man but stopped after a week as he realizes the work didn’t fit him, and he moved to become a furniture delivery man using a four-wheel drive vehicle, and he was doing it alone and sometimes might seek the help from the customer to lift bigger size furniture.
As he has a memorable moment when he broke his fast on the road on last Ramadhan month and worked till 4am and there was a new venture by the father of three who has picked up and managed to purchase a three-ton lorry for his furniture delivery services.
