Penang JPJ Fined 216 Driver for Disobeying Tinting Regulations
We all understand that there is a new regulation which is more lose nowadays regarding window tinting rules. But seems like some hero Malaysian road user is still thinking they are smart or wiser by not following such rules.
On a special mirror op around Penang, operated by JPJ Penang where the purpose of the windshield operation is to ensure that drivers and vehicle owners comply with the permitted use of tinted mirrors, namely 70% light transparency for the windshield and 50% light transparency for the left and right windshield of the driver.
During the operation, 108 vehicles were taken action with 216 summons notices issued to the driver who committed the offense. Enforcement action will be taken continuously to ensure that drivers and owners comply with the rules and laws that have been in force.
