Penang has 4 roads around Weld Quay will be altered to one way street which are the:

1. Pesara King Edward: From King Edward Roundabout to Weld Quay
2. Part of Weld Quay: From Pesara King Edward to Lebuh Downing
3. Lebuh Downing: From Weld Quay to Beach Street
4. Part of Beach Street: From Lebuh Downing to King Edward Roundabout

This changes will officially start on 26 December, 10 pm onwards and do take note for those who are staying there or planning to visit Weld Quay. These changes are required to ease the traffic congestion in the area. So remember to drive slow when you are at Weld Quay to avoid driving in the wrong direction and getting a ticket.
