The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has warned all that there will be strict legal action taken against any individuals who will try to flout the cross-state borders to return to their home for the Ramadhan celebration. Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department director Datuk Zainal Abidin Kasim said his department would ensure strict inspections to be carried out at every roadblock (SJR) and only those with complete travel documents will be allowed to cross the state.

More police roadblocks will be increased to avoid this citizen from traveling interstate near Ramadhan which is expected to start on 13 April. Hence, there are a lot of ways and methods for the public can sneak back to their house or kampong, hence the PDRM will tighten all inspection at roadblocks to ensure no one gets away from it.
