OPPO reveals Reno5 Pro Plus with Limited Edition in China, has Features of Colour Changing Rear Case
Oppo recently launch their new Reno5 series in Malaysia, which included a standard variant and a Pro model, meanwhile in China, The company has revealed a limited edition series of the Reno5 Pro Plus which it has a rather unique feature which is a colour changing rear case.
This Oppo Reno5 Pro Plus Artist Limited Edition is a partnership design with artist Joshua Vides, who is known for this sketch like design for interior decoration and other products. Where you can find features like electrochromic glass panels which switches colour to blue and grey.
This colour changing technology was first demonstrated by OPPO’s sister company Vivo where they have a concept phone which is capable of over 30,000 colour changing cycles. Apart from this, the Reno5 Pro Plus features is same as the original which has a 6.55 inch curved amoled display with 90Hz refresh rate and in-display fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 865 chipset, 12GB of Ram, 256GB of internal storage and battery with 4,500 mAh capacity and can support 65w SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging. Lastly, the phone is also equipped with quad-camera setup with 50MP Sony IMX755 sensor, 16MP Ultra-wide angle, 13 MP telephoto and 2MP macro sensor.
The Artist Limited Edition of the handset is set to go on sale in China on 22 January for CNY4,499 (~RM2,812). There’s no word if OPPO plans to have the Reno5 Pro Plus or the limited edition to launch globally at this time.
