Before this, all instant transfer will be charged. There are 2 types of transfer which is the IBG (delayed Funds Transfer and IBFT (immediately real-time fund transfer) where IBG is now charging RM0.10 and IBFT is charging RM0.50 if the user uses the facility

According to the PB , Starting from 13th June, the 2 above transfer method will no longer be charged and you can transfer money for free now!

This is a fantastic news!!

Previously, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has announced that starting July 1st 2018, all instant transfer will be waived. The motive of this move is to encourage more online transfer usage from the customer rather then transaction through cheque.

Most bank has implemented this ahead of the schedule (July 1st).

Guess there are competitions around and who makes the first moves win.

Good for us the consumers.
