M’sian Who Earns RM8K Say that His GF’s Mum Thinks That He is Not Rich Enough

Parents will always find that they want the best for their children including finding a partner who can support them financially but some parents somehow can draw the line a bit too high. As one Malaysian man sent his story to a local radio station called MY where they have a segment called “MY 爱情 Love All Night”.And the radio DJs would then discuss and give their advice or opinion based on the stories or problems faced by the listeners.
However, on one submission posted on their Facebook page, the netizen shared that he is facing a problem with his girlfriend’s mother as she finds that he is not rich enough for her daughter and he said that his girlfriend comes from a very rich family and every car she buys cost over RM200,000. She would also purchase branded watches, clothes, shoes, and other branded items.
However, he added that his girlfriend loves him and doesn’t mind that he wasn’t born rich. But her mother is very different where she likes to ask him how much he’s earning in front of her relatives and friend and would embarrass him in various ways. The netizen then shared that he is very low self-esteem now and feels unworthy of his girlfriend. He said that he earns a salary of RM8,000, which according to his girlfriend’s mother, is insignificant.
