M’sian Singer Who is Malay With His Mandarin Song Makes a 170 Million View Hits in China
With the earlier talent such as Shila Amzah who gain her fame in China, now another Malay Singer, Firdaus, a 22-year-old lately making waves on China Tik TOk when his original composition garnered more than 170 million views and over 1.1 million on youtube.
Although he grew up in a Malay household, he was sent to Chinese school at young, and thus he managed to learn the Mandarin language which is not only spoken fluently but also manage to compose songs in the Mandarin language also. As he is the only child in the family where since young his parents weren’t supporting much in his interest in music but his parent’s mind changed after seeing him continuously hard pursued his dream for about 10 years.
His latest debut of A letter song was released in early November, especially the Gulf of Alaska which is making a hit in douyin, TIKTOK which even some influencers in China are getting the copyright of his song, and his other song which are in the EP includes ” Hey, I Like You A Lot”, ” If I Die Pls Tell My Mum I Love Her” and “Brother”.
