M’sian made Historic Sultan Ibrahim Building with 15,000 pieces of Lego
A group of Malaysian Lego enthusiasts have recently built a replica of the Sultan Ibrahim building in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The people behind this amazing art is Bruce Lee Chiau Han and Micheal Choy Kum Weng where they know each other from the Synergy Lego User group as adult geeks enjoy their own Lego creations here.
It took them 6 weeks to control the building out of 15,000 Lego pieces. The Sultan Ibrahim building was build in 1939 and inaugurated by Sultan Ibrahim of Johor himself in 1940. Where it has unique features of fusion between Western and Malay architecture. Where it considered as one of landmark in the state of Johor Bahru with the tallest building in Malaysia’s pre independence era.
The miniature of The Sultan Ibrahim Building is on display at Midvalley Southkey, Johor Bahru.
