M’sian Didn’t Think Customizable Granola Can help Her To make RM15k Monthly
The pair who’s started off by selling granola to their friends and family for fun and slowly they are getting more orders from countless request for customization on granola where the normal ones are packed with sugar. Their earlier customer also gave feedback that they wanted granola with less packed with sugar where Vivienne and Jiunn hung had already planned to incorporate.
Vivienne manages Granos full time now whereas Jiunn Hung still has a corporate 9-5 jobs. And they are currently operated fully as an online store and have not sold at any big bazaar yet since they started the business when the Covid-19 just broke out. As for now the customer can choose to customize from 12 ingredients with 1 base flavor (honey and cinnamon) or opt for the Classic, a pre mixed combo. These ingredients which include nuts, seeds, dried fruit and topping like cornflakes and to customize an order, the customer just need to fill in this Google Form.
Both The Classic and customizable granola are priced at RM19.90 at a 250g net weight. They also provide trail mix at RM14.90 at a 125g net weight. And for those who are allergic to nut can opt for nut-free granola. Delivery to any location will be RM7.50, but you’ll be eligible for a free delivery if your orders are above RM60.
Since they started in September 2019, Granos has already catered to big names like Shopee, PwC, DHL and Tiffany and Co. Since then, they’ve been approached by more big names to curate personalized granola gifts for their employees and clients. On average, Vivienne earns about RM15,000 in revenue per month, and sometimes more during festive seasons. They foresee a more request will be coming soon and Vivienne is planning to move out sometimes soon and rent a bigger kitchen space and they have goal which they wanted to reduce the carbon footprint and change the way people view waste and disposable packaging.
