More than 20 dogs were Poisoned to death While Authorities Can’t Do Much Due to Lack of Evidence
Last Friday, a Facebook user CHan WIng has posted on an Ipoh group were a tragic sight when she has come across for a few days where multiple dogs were poisoned and killed while letting rot by the roadside. In her post, she asks the public for any information regarding the situation and calls withness to contact her so that they could report the incident to relevant authorities.
While President Ricky Soong of Ipoh Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA) explained that the incident has happened in 7 are around Ipoh and over 20 dogs were reported to been poisoned to death in the past week alone. It started last Wednesday when someone called him that the dogs were getting poisoned. While the call didn’t stop there as Soong continue to get multiple calls of dog poisoning until Friday midnight on 18 December.
As he worries that the poisoning dogs is an attempt to break into the house and rob certain houses, and a police report has been made, however, the police mentioned that they can’t do much as nobody knows who is committing such crime but they will do their best to patrol these areas. Ricky also urged everyone to record any suspicious motorcycles, cars, or persons just in case.
