MOH: 4 Group Of People Who Shouldn’t Wear Mask, Might Do Harm Than Good
As the Ministry of Health announced that starting August month onwards, wearing a face mask is a compulsory thing for all citizens of Malaysia or you might be fined for RM1,000 for not wearing a facial mask. But there is actually 4 group of people in which wearing a mask will only do them harm rather than good. Here are the 4 categories of people which Ministry of Health shared:

1. Children below the age of 2 – as children below this age might suffocate due to their unable to express their discomfort or even unable to remove the face mask by themselves.

2. Those with Breathing Difficulties – if you are suffering from mild asthma then you are most probably fine with a face mask, but if you are struggling to breathe with a face mask, you should try to avoid travelling in public for your own safety.

3. Anyone who is unconscious – if someone happens to faint or sudden collapse, a face mask should be removed from their face, so the person can breathe better.

4. Anyone who is disabled and can’t remove face mask by their own – as this group applies for those who are most probably having some difficulties with cases such as amputated arm due to surgery or accident, where a shield mask is more suitable for these categories of the group.
