Minister Apologises On Finas Issue and Mentioned M’sian Can Freely Upload Content On Social Media Platforms
We all know that the recent earlier news regarding Finas and the Malaysia Communication and Multimedia Minister, Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah has received a lot of backlash after his comment regarding the rights of Malaysians to post a video on social media.
After the several, backslash, the COmmunication and Multimedia Minister has openly apologized to social media practitioner over the licensing issue, he also added that he will talk about the issue in Dewan Rakyat.
This apology was made while officiating the Southern Zone Youtube and Community Cinema Skills Worskshop at the Iskandar Malaysia Studios in Johor on 9 August 2020.
“Don’t worry, no action will be taken. That freedom is fully guaranteed.”
