Malindo Sign Off Thousands of Staff On Latest Retrenchment
Malindo Airways is one of the famous airlines from Indonesia which recently are forced to downsize its operations and reduces its workforce to 2,200 staff from its original 3,200 staff which makes thousand of staff getting retrenched this round.
With this retrenchment, the affected staff will get a 3 months package as part of their retrenchment process but however, the payment will be in 3 months’ time and not in bulk. As a lot of staff were informed in a sort of emergency state which a lot of the staff kinda accepted it as they realize the state of their job with the recent pandemic issue.
