Malaysia’s First Drive-In Cinema Experience And How does it Feels Like

On 17 July, the Casuarina Meru has officially launched their drive-in cinema which is located at the Bandar Meru Raya in Ipoh, Perak.

According to Casuarina Meru, this is the first drive-in cinema that comes with fully equipped on a website and online ticketing systems. This new entertainment is also the brainchild of Perak Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu and inline with Tourism Perak’s campaign.

The moviegoers can tune their vehicle radio into a frequency in order to receive the movie’s audio while there are large speakers are stationed beside the screen as well. As for the screen, it would be better if it is slightly bigger and positioning it higher so if people walk out of their car they won’t be blocking the screen.

You can also put on your hazard lights and the employees will come to your vehicle to take your orders. While the price of the tickets is, RM36, RM40, and RM42 and it come with a food package.
5a-16 - News

Each screening can hold a total of 70 vehicles.
