Ministry of Health Malaysia announched that as of 12pm 25th Apr 2020, there were 51 new cases of Covid-19 in Malaysia with a total of 5,742 cases, showing double-digit new cases for 9 consecutive days; 2 people died, A total of 98 people (1.71%).
MOH said that 99 people were cured and discharged today, with a total of 3,762 people, accounting for 65.5%. Today, the number of people recovering exceeds the number of diagnoses.
MOH said there are currently 36 people in the intensive care unit, 16 of whom need breathing aids.
“At present, there are 1,882 cases in our country that are active cases that can infect others.”
Health Director pointed out that the 97th deceased was the 2,354th case, a 62-year-old Malaysian man with heart disease. He entered the Sungai Buloh Hospital on March 28 and died at 3:53am today.
“The 98th deceased was the 2,806th case, a 62-year-old Malaysian woman who had close contact with the 1,346th case (her child), entered the Kuala Lumpur Central Hospital for treatment on March 22, and April 24 at 5pm Passed away at age of 43.
