Langkawi Chocolate Sold Out After Interstate Travel Allowed Again
Ever since the announcement of interstate travels has allowed again, Malaysian again went berserk and started their vacation almost immediately, where on 19 December the pictures of the Langkawi Jetty is crowded with Malaysian on no concern regarding social distancing went viral. As the Kedah State Health Committee Chairman Datuk Mohd Hayati Othman stated that there is no need for strict observe the standard operating procedures set by the government even after the image shows how to pack and crowded the jetty was.
As later on, the Langkawi Kini posted that how the duty-free chocolate was swiped clean by tourists, then Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) chief executive officer Dr. Ahmad Hezri Adnan told that they will be expecting a target of 250,000 tourists arriving this month. This means the tourism industry and local business will pick up after the slump but with this large Malaysian swarming over Langkawi, will it spike up the cases again?
