Kuching Staff Slapped By Customer After Asking To Wear Mask Before Enter Restaurant
Recently a couple was advised to put on a mask when they are entering eatery premises by instead of following these rules, the couple struck by slapping the staff instead. The incident happens on July 15 at Satok, Kuching. At the time, a couple when into the food premises, and a staff saw them and request them to wear a mask, while the customer answers them that there isn’t a sign showing a must wear a mask while another staff who comes into advise the customer get slapped instead.
The couple then left hurriedly and the whole incident was captured by the restaurant CCTV by local news. After this incident, the restaurant has lodged a police report and let just hope that the police will find out the truth behind this and give these couple stern actions for not following the sop.
Health Director-General, Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah says that if wearing a mask in public spaces is made mandatory then violators can be fined RM1,000 or face jail time.
