Husband Jumps Into Sea to Rescue Wife Who Has Depressing At the Penang Bridge

A husband has jumped over the Penang Bridge in order to save his wife who fell over during an incident on 16 April where the 45 years old woman who has believed to have fallen into the sea when her husband stopped his motorcycle by the side of the bridge and jumped down to save her. The couple’s nine-year-old son asked another motorist to call for help.
The Penang Fire and Rescue Department said that they have received an emergency call at 4.40 pm and quickly dispatched a team from Perai Fire and Rescue Station and found that she had been rescued by her husband and safely landed on one of the bridge’s pillars.
Her husband told the authorities that she has been suffering from depression for the past few years and from the incident, the woman had arrived on the bridge in a Proton Saga aero back according to an eyewitness and as soon after she fell over the Penang bridge, her husband and son have arrived there on the motorcycle. Currently, the case is being investigated under Section 309 of the Penal Code, which covers attempted suicide and it will carry one-year imprisonment or fine or both.
