It has been almost close to a year since our country’s border were closed down to due to the current pandemic. As a lot of families and loved ones had to console themselves through video calls. You can come back with a good reason now

Who is eligible?

Crossing the border for travel and leisure is still not allowed though, so you must have a good reason for doing so. These are the people who can apply to cross the borders:

  1. Legal residents of Singapore who need to make single-entry trips for business and official purposes in Malaysia.
  2. Malaysians who want to leave the country for official, business, medical treatment, or emergency purposes.
  3. Spouse or children of a Malaysian citizen or permanent resident who want to return to Malaysia.
  4. Foreigners or permanent residents who want to enter Malaysia for official, business, medical treatment, emergency, or death-related purposes.
  5. Foreign workers or domestic helpers may apply for entry by their employers only.
  6. Expartriates or skilled workers with an active pass who exited Malaysia during the previous movement control order (MCO) and are currently stranded abroad can apply to return.
  7. Those eligible with a Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) pass who exited Malaysia during the previous movement control order (MCO) and are currently stranded abroad can apply to return.

So now if you are really looking forward to go out travelling with a certain related issue. You can basically go out but remember to be safe.
