How to Login to MySalam and Apply For A claim as B40 Community National Health Insurance Plan

The government began to implement the B40 community national health insurance plan (MySalam) in 2019. Under this plan, all beneficiaries of the BSH living assistance family group will be able to automatically enjoy this plan without additional application, but only for people between 18 and 55 years old. The beneficiaries of the BSH living assistance fund will directly receive the National Protection Plan for Low-income Groups (MySalam), allowing low-income groups to obtain medical protection for 45 diseases without having to purchase additional insurance.
In addition, if a patient is diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia, the government will also provide a hospital allowance of RM50 per day for a maximum of 14 days a year when seeking medical treatment in any national hospital. The upper limit is RM700. Generally, as long as the beneficiaries of the B40 group of the People’s Living Assistance (BSH) family group (beneficiaries between the ages of 18 and 65), they can automatically enjoy the protection of the mySalam plan. Benefits of mySalam:

– The insured person can also receive a hospitalization allowance of RM50 per day during treatment in a government hospital, for a maximum of 14 days or RM700. This can be claimed every year, but the maximum receipt is RM700 per year.

- Step 2: Fill in the ID number
- Step 3: Fill in the password (the password will be the last 6 characters of your ID number)
- Step 4: You will need to enter a new password
- Step 5: After logging in, the beneficiary can apply for a claim online.
For example, if you are instructed to go to quarantine by the Ministry of Health based on the new crown pneumonia, you can also apply for a daily compensation of RM50. After logging in to your mySalam account according to the above method, click Tuntutan – Penyerahan Tuntutan, select Pesakit Positif Covid-19, Disyaki Covid-19 & ditahan di pusat kuarantin KKM or Disyaki Covid-19 & diarahkan KKM kuarantin di kediaman sendiri group. Then fill in the relevant information and attach the documents to apply for a claim.
How to get a claim?
The insurance company will directly remit the cash to the bank account used by the beneficiary when applying for the BSH.
