Free Vaccination for Children
Under the National Vaccine Program, children (nationals) born in Malaysia will be entitled to more than 10 vaccines provided by the government for free.
From December 1, 2020, the government will provide another free vaccine injection, which is Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV), to prevent children from getting sick from infection with Streptococcus pneumoniae.

In addition, starting from November 2020, the five-in-one mixed vaccine (pentavalent DTap-IPV//Hib) in the national vaccine plan will be replaced by a six-in-one mixed vaccine (hexavalent DTaP-IPV-Hep8-Hib). The vaccination schedule has also been adjusted.
The following is the latest vaccination schedule for children (it will expire in December 2020, depending on different regions and clinics):
- BCG: meningitis + tuberculosis vaccine
- Hepatitis B: Hepatitis B
- DTaP: Diphtheria + Tetanus + Pertussis
- IPV: polio
- Hib: Haemophilus influenzae type B
- Pneumokokal: Streptococcus pneumoniae vaccine
- Measles: Measles
- MMR: Measles + Mumps + Rubella
- DT: Diphtheria + Tetanus
- HPV: Human Papillomavirus (Cervical Cancer)
- Tetanus: Tetanus
- JE: Japanese Encephalitis
