GSC, TGV and MBO Cinema Will Reopen On 16 Dec On Selected Branch only
Movie theaters in our country have been closed again since November this year. After being closed for more than a month, movie theaters in many regions will finally resume operations on December 16. The nine designated cinema branches of GSC Cinemas will reopen at 6 pm on December 16, including Aman Central Plaza in Kedah, Gurney Plaza Penang, Sunway Carnival Plaza in Butterworth, Aeon Mall Malacca and Dataran Pahlawan, Allamanda in Putrajaya, East Coast Plaza in Kuantan, Mentakab Star Plaza in Pahang, and City One Plaza in Kuching.
TGV Cinemas will also officially open Penang Paragon Plaza (Gurney Paragon), 1st Avenue Shopping Plaza (1st Avenue), Bukit Mertajam, Aeon Plaza Taiping, and Aeon Plaza Perak on December 16, Terengganu Mesra Shopping Mall, Kuching Vivacity Megamall Sarawak, and Permaisuri Imperial Mall (Permaisuri Imperial Mall) in a total of 8 theatres.
On the other hand, MBO also announced that it will resume the operation of 6 theatres in Alor Setar Central Square, Taiping Sentral Mall, Melaka Mall, Kluang Mall, and Kuching The Spring at 6 pm on December 16.
After reopening on December 16, 2020, the movie previewed that night will be the latest Wonder Woman “Superwoman 1984”.
In any case, movie theaters in other states, including Klang Valley, are still far from open. After all, Klang Valley is still under the Conditional Movement Control Order CMCO!
