Government Distributes Additional 1 Million More MYTV Digital Decoders
The government will distribute an additional 1 million MYTV digital TV decoders!
According to the news issued by the Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia, the MYTV digital TV decoder has received an enthusiastic response from the public, especially in rural areas, so the government has decided to distribute an additional 1 million MYTV digital TV decoders.
The application for the free distribution of MYTV digital TV decoders by the government was closed on May 31, 202, but the government decided to distribute 1 million more decoders.
There are currently 44 Digital Terrestrial Services (DTT) communication stations in Malaysia, which have covered 95% of the population. As for areas not covered by DTT, the government will provide a Direct-to-Home (DTH) method to allow people to watch MYTV digital TV programs via satellite.
Some people said that they could not watch clear MYTV TV programs. This may be because the antenna or digital TV decoder he purchased was not certified by MCMC or SIRIM. If you also encounter this problem, you can contact MYTV’s hotline at 1800-18-1088.
