The National Registration Agency (Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara, JPN) announced on Facebook that the headquarters of each state JPN and UTC branches will implement a cashless policy every Wednesday. People are urged to bring a debit card or use Internet Banking before going to do business.
In addition, the Johor State Land Transport Bureau (JPJ) announced on Facebook that if people want to go to UTC’s JPJ to handle affairs, they can only pay through debit or credit cards. This policy will be gradually implemented from December 16, 2020, And will be fully implemented on January 1, 2021.
Starting from December 16, 2020, from Sunday to Thursday and Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 12:15 noon, people can use cash, debit cards, and credit cards to pay; Sunday to Thursday And on Saturday from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm, and Friday from 2:45 pm to 4:20 pm, people can only use debit cards and credit cards for payment.
From January 1, 2021, all UTC JPJs in Johor will implement a cashless policy, which means that people can only use debit or credit cards to pay fees, not cash.
