Girl Mourn Grandpa in Viral Video After Her Grandpa Pass Away Due to Covid-19 in just 18 Days Infected
While some of us are still thinking that the Covid-19 aren’t serious enough, an 10-year-old Malaysian’s girl who has unfortunately lost her ah gong or grandpa to the Covid-19 virus. After getting the virus infected by his friend which her grandpa has fought the battle for 18 days before eventually succumbed to the virus.
According to the girl, Mavis, that her grandpa allegedly got the virus from his irresponsible good friend and on 27 Dec 2020, after the friend were still waiting for his test result he asked her grandpa out for a tea on 31 Dec and on 1 Jan, the result were back positive which he failed to inform her grandpa.
3 days later, her grandpa developed symptoms such as flu, back pain, coldness and was admitted to hospital but her grandpa was not tested until a week later and because he had visited 2 general practitioner clinics, the doctor did not recommend him to do a Covid-19 test and his result come back positive with lung infection and needed ICU and ventilator after 7 days later. But there were bed shortage at the Covid-19 designated facility and her grandpa has to spend 4 days at hospital before admitted to Sungai Buloh Hospital and 18 days later, on 29 January, her grandfather unfortunately has passed away.
In the video, Mavis sent out a heartfelt reminder that if you display any typical symptoms, hurry and get tested for the Covid-19 test and if you are waiting for your result, stay isolated for the well being of those around you.
