Fisherman In Kedah Praised For Saving a Whale Shark Trapped In Net
Did you realize that after the Covid-19 outbreak, there is more and more kind-hearted people who are caring more for mother nature and also wild animals now? On recent news, a news shared by the Department of Fisheries (DOF) on their Facebook that a fisherman helped out on a whale shark which was caught in those fisherman nets in Kuala Kedah waters.
On the Facebook video, we can see the brake fisherman seen swimming in the ocean and helping out the poor whale shark from the fishing net while the other men on the boat cheered for him and try to give him instructions on where the net is still tangled on the shark.
If you all don’t know, whale shark helps to controls the fish population of smaller fish so that the ocean will have a balanced nature of a certain fish, not over-growing. Just like if jellyfish are overgrowing that will be bad for other species.
