With the insane hefty amount of RM10,000 fine earlier where public has expressed their outrage with these rules. The Defence Minister, Ismail Sabri announced that the Minister in Law of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has announced amendment on the RM10,000 compound to be lowered to RM1,500 for such offence like:
- First-time offenders and individuals who do not wear masks will be fined RM1,500.
- Those who do not register themselves or use the MySejahtera app to check in will be fined RM1,500.
- Those who do not adhere to physical distancing will be fined RM1,500.
And if individuals who paid the fine within a week time, they can entitle for a 50% discount. So what do you all think now about this new amendments.
