Fertility Rates Global Would Crash Causing Population To Drop Half By 2100
Recently there were reports mentioned that Malaysia was recording an all-time low in fertility rates but it is more on the global side than we think. As the world is currently with all the latest millennials updates with technologies and gadgets, researchers are saying that the fertility rates could have shrunk the populations by end of the century.
There is a total of 23 countries that could potentially see their populations halved by 2100 which included Spain and Japan. The reason behind this is because women are becoming more driven towards education and works which leads to greater access to contraception. But the inverted age of people getting married on late age are also a part of the concern here.
While other countries are trying to implement the maternity and paternity leaves and free childcare and financial incentives and extra employment rights but there is still a struggle.
