Face Mask Price Reduced From RM1.50 to RM1.20 Starting 15 August
At the beginning of August, the price ceiling for face mask will be reduced from RM1.50 to RM1.20 mentioned by Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi, Malaysia’s Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs. This is based on the ministry’s surveillance and monitoring on face mask production and distribution where it is sufficient and supported by import and will have enough stock at the moment.
With this new price also, it will be mandatory of usage of face mask in all public areas as announced by the Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. As the current number of Covid-19 cases is increasing back therefore, it is very important for everyone to have a face mask on wherever they are outside.
