Ex-Husband Decided to Suicide But Ex-Wife Stopped Him From Jumping From Rawang Bypass
A tragedy happens lately when a husband decided to suicide at the Rawang bypass in Selangor on Friday, 19 February however the suicide attempt were manage to saved after the Gombat district police chief ACP Arifai Tarawe said police received an emergency call about the case at 1.30pm and rushed to the scene. And a team of firefighters from Rawang fire station were also dispatch over to the place as the Rawang bypass is the tallest elevated highway in Malaysia with a 60m above ground.
The 50-year-old man were found standing on one of the ledge of the highway while hugging a lamp post when the rescue team arrive and in the midst of negotiation, the chief said a woman in her 50s claiming to be the man’s ex wife showed up to persuade him from jumping. Investigation later revealed that the couple had divorced last month and the man was unemployed lately and he has quite his job as a personal driver and was making an effort to convince his ex-wife to reconsider their divorce.
