E-Census Has Few Days Left For Online Survey Before Government Official Conduct Face to Face Interviews
The 2020 census will be divided into two phases. The first phase of the census has started from July 7 to September 30. Questionnaires can be submitted through online questionnaires (e-Census) and computer-assisted telephone surveys (CATI).
The second phase of the census will be launched from October 7th to 24th. Government officials will conduct face-to-face interviews.
If the census questionnaire is not completed online by the end of September 30, the Bureau of Statistics Malaysia officials will conduct the census in stages starting from October 7. If you do not want to conduct surveys and interviews with officials from the Bureau of Statistics, people must complete the census questionnaire before September 30.
Relevant units will mail an invitation code to the selected 3 million households in the first stage. After receiving this invitation code, you need to complete the population through https://ecensus.mycensus.gov.my/ before September 30 Census questionnaire.
If you have not received the invitation code, but want to complete the census questionnaire online, then you need to click [ PRA PENDAFTARAN e-CENSUS ] to register first, and the invitation code will be emailed to you in about a week!

Step 1: Browse【PRA PENDAFTARAN e-CENSUS】 to register an account
Step 2: Fill in personal information, name, ID number, email address, contact number, and then submit the form
Step 3: After receiving the email, click [Confirm], and then you can receive the invitation code within about a week

Step 1: After receiving the invitation code, browse https://ecensus.mycensus.gov.my/sign-up URL
Step 2: Enter the name, email, mobile number, and invitation code, and then click Daftar
Step 3: Then complete the questionnaire according to the instructions!
