Driving License Can be Renewed Online Starting 16 Oct Onwards
MyEG finally opened the online driver license update service! Finally, I don’t have to take a specific leave to renew my driver’s license at JPJ.
According to the information issued by the Malaysian Land Transport Agency (JPJ), people can renew their motorcycle road tax through MyEG online from October 9, 2020, and their car driving license (CDL) through MyEG online from October 16 .
After registering and logging in to the MyEG online service account, you can renew your driver’s license and road tax. After completing the renewal of your driver’s license and road tax, you can choose to obtain the driver’s license or road tax by mail, or you can choose to get a new driver’s license or road tax at the designated MyEG service center.
The mailing fee in the Klang Valley is RM6, and the new road tax can be received within 2 working days. The postage for other parts of West Malaysia is RM8. Urban areas can receive the new road tax within 2 to 3 working days, and non-urban areas can receive the road tax within 5 working days. The postage for Sabah and Sarawak is RM10, and the new road tax can be received within 5 working days.
Methods MyEG driver’s license
Step 1: Browse https://www.myeg.com.my/register registered a MyEG account.
Step 2: After completing the account registration, you can log in to your MyEG account.
Step 3: Select Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan, and then select Driving License Renewal (CDL). Step 4: Select the deadline, mobile phone number, email address, etc. to be updated. Step 5: You can choose how to obtain a new driver’s license in the Collection Methods column. Step 6: After completing the update, you can receive the new road tax within 2 working days at the earliest.
