Delivery Rider Went Extra Miles On Returning a Lost Wallet Gets Opportunity To Make Extra Income

Last year, a GrabFood rider returned a lost wallet he found in Petaling Jaya to its owner in Klang, Dedee Laksmana Ra who found the wallet by the roadside in the middle of delivering an order in Damansara on 17 September 2020. ANd he kept the wallet in his warmer bag which he would return it during his off hour. However, he later forgets about the wallet when he returned home in Sungai Buloh that day.
As he looks through the wallet in hope to find the details about the owner, which he manages to search and found a match on the photo of the identification card which looked identical to the profile picture which he sent the facebook user a message, but he received no reply. Therefore, the next mooring, Dedee decided to personally return the wallet to its owner and the whole journey took him around 30 minutes. And the wallet was returned as the owner was not at home during that time.
The new business opportunity
Later onwards, the wallet owner, Mr.Ong manage to track him down and invited him for a free meal. He even said that he can bring whatever number of people to his restaurant to eat so Dedee brought his family there, but he wasn’t at the restaurant when he visited. However, Dedee notice that Ong recently launched a new range of products, and he asked if he could become an agent to help him sell the products. Ong quickly agreed and Dedee is currently selling Ali, Muthu & Ah Hock 3-In-1 White Coffee as his side business.
Dedee also mentioned that he does sell other thing since he is meeting a lot of people during his food delivery and he manages to sell quite a lot of them after Ong promoted the product on Facebook. Dedee also mentioned that one bag cost RM14 and it comes with three flavour which is original, less sugar and no sugar and he charge a flat rate of rm5 for delivery to anyone in Klang Valley.
