Dbrand is making Matte Black PlayStation 5 Face plate Because Black is What PS5 Stands Out the Most
The Sony PlayStation 5 gaming console currently shipping out with a white face plate, which for most PS5 fans out there, it has been a decade long in which most will prefer the black color version as the white colors look something more towards Nintendo. Therefore, if you have purchased a white version, and you don’t have much of options other than go and stick a black matte sticker to your all new console which will means kinda silly.
But now, the Dbrand has announced their very own PlayStation 5 face plate which comes in matte black color, as there are no pricing details released yet, Dbrand mention that they will only accept the order when they have sufficient stock at their HQ in Toronto. As earlier they have made a custom PS5 face plate earlier, but it turns out the plate still have some white spot on it therefore they canceled the whole first batch and refunded all pre-orders.
Also, this UK-Based company had previously attempted to sell a custom PS5 face plate online, however they were sued by Sony for trademark infringements in the past. So when asked if Dbrand is in worry about the potential legal issues with Sony, the famed Dbrand reply that we encourage them to try. Perhaps they have found a better way to make these black plate legals. 
So at the moment, since PS5 are still hard to come by and Sony are yet to replenish their stock. If you are in case looking for a black version then this is certainly one of the Black cover option for you.
