Customer Push and Attack Staff After Being Told to Wear Face mask at Seremban Shop

A 50-year-old man was arrested after he threatened a shop working for not wearing a mask at Masbukti Senawang Supermarket, Negeri Sembilan. The video which was circulating on social media shows the man yelling at the working then pushing and even attempting to strangle him while the worker remains calm and keeps apologizing to the man. The 22-year-old victim has made a police report at 12.33 pm on the same day and the suspect was later arrested at about 10 pm to assist in investigations.

The suspect will be taken to Seremban Court Complex on Monday for remand under Section 506/323 of the Penal Code and will also be compounded for violating standard operating procedures (SOP) under Act 342 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988.
