When it comes to instant noodle, one of the famous brands name of Indomie which is famous for the dry instant noodle will certainly not stranger brand among instant noodle lover out there. But did you know that the inventor of Indomie is actually a woman from Indonesia? Nunuk Nuraine, the inventor of Indomie has pass away on Wednesday, 27 January in Indonesia at only age of 59 years old. The news of her death was announced by Indofood, the company which carries the product of Indomie.

Nunuk was a graduate of Padjadjaran University’s food technology department in Bandung, Indonesia and she worked as a flavour development manager at Indofood’s instant noodle division for nearly 30 years. Where she was the one who invented the classic mi goreng Indomie flavour. And some of her other creation are:
- Soto
- Rendang
- Chicken Curry
- Sambal Matah
