Computer Programmer Has 2 Guess Left For this Password on His est $229m in Bitcoin Account before Lock out
With the Bitcoin soaring high recently where a computer programmer who somehow forgotten his password for this account is just 2 clicks away from losing an estimated of $220 million worth of Bitcoin on his digital wallet. Stefan Thomas who was gifted the 7,002 bitcoin in 2011 but lost the password and the pieces of software which uses to create Bitcoin means that only the user has the access to the password and with an Iron Key system they only allow user with 10 attempts to get the password right.
As of now, Thomas has only two password attempts left before the system shut down his digital wallet forever and encrypt the Bitcoin files. And there is an estimated of $140 billion in Bitcoin trapped in similar digital wallets after most user has forgotten their password or left it stranded.
