Christmas Comes Early at Queensland Zoo with Staff Giving the Animals With Festive Present and Bon Bons of Delicious Treats
The animals at Queensland Zoo were presented with early Christmas gifts the staff of Queensland Zoo gift these animals a festive present and bonbons of delicious treats where were wrapped up and presented to chimpanzees, meerkats, and macaws at Rockhampton Zoo on Wednesday.
Park Councillor Cherie Rutherford mentioned that the gift was a part of animal enrichment activities where the wonderful zoo family and the animals have fun exploring these present and finding treats hidden inside. The Enrichment activities are similar in how they have to forage in the wild where they have to figure out how to get the food. The zoo has been getting into the Christmas spirit this year and chooses to give out the gift on Wednesday as the enrichment activities.
This is indeed some special attempt by Rockhampton Zoo. So nice for them to give these animals Christmas treats! 😀
