Chili’s Malaysia Bid Goodbye On Their Flagship Store after 27 Years Of Operation
The damage to the pandemic seem to haven’t come to and end when another big chain restaurant will be closing down again, indeed sad news to Malaysian food lover where the Tex-Mex franchise Chilli’s will be closing their first flagship outlet in Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC) this month. This restaurant which has just operated back in June 1994 announce this news of closure on its social media page in the evening of 10 March.
Its post reads as follows: “It’s been an awesome 27 years for Chili’s at Bangsar Shopping Centre. We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our guests at Chili’s Bangsar Shopping Centre for your support over the years. We’re sadly saying goodbye to our very first flagship store. Drop by for one last time before March 31 to say goodbye as we will be permanently closing Chili’s Bangsar Shopping Centre outlet soon.”
The reason behind the closure was not given but mostly we believe that the restaurant industry has been taking a huge hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. Aside from the outlet in Bangsar, Chili’s also have several other outlets at Klang Valley, such as in Mid Valley Megamall, 1 Utama, Empire Shopping Gallery and Suria KLCC.
So shall we all pay it a last visit at their Bangsar outlet before it close down this month?
