Butterfly Sanctuary in Malaysia Which Gives you a Sense you Are Living in an Enchanted World
If you ever wanted to have a day out with nature and surrounded by some beautiful creature of the mother earth. Then this place is definitely worth your visit. As a lot might not aware that Malaysia has its very own enchanted garden that is filled with thousands of beautiful butterflies.
Entopia, which is one of Malaysia’s largest butterfly sanctuaries located in Penang, with over 15,000 over of free-roaming butterflies where you can enjoy capturing and discovering these different species of butterflies here. The Penang Butterfly farm was first founded by a self-taught entomologist David Goh in 1986 before it went through a massive transformation and then opens for to the public in 2016 by his son, Joseph Goh.
Here you can enjoy education for both kids and adults as you can watch the process of how caterpillars are turning into butterflies and you can even adopt your own pupa and bring it home too. And there will be other reptiles and insects here too but the most amazing thing here is that you can enjoy lots of nice beautiful backgrounds here for your photo-shoot to capture a lot of memorable moments here!
Entopia is located in Teluk Bahang, Penang. Entrance fees are as follows:
