But What You Don’t Know is That Batu Caves Has a New Look!
In case you didn’t know what’s Batu Caves, it is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, and Batu Caves is a dedicated shrine to workship to Lord Murugan. Aside from that, Batu Caves is the focal point of Hindu festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia.
The caves is almost 100 m above the ground, and in order to get to the Temple Cave, you will need to climb the steep 272 steps to the top of the Batu Caves.
But now, the 272 steps has gotten a new look where now the 272-step stairs leading up to the entrance of the Temple has been painted with various bright hues of red, blue, yellow, green and orange. And it’s now has a rainbow look! This is part of the maintenance activities that keep the place nice.
Guess next year Thaipusam will gonna be a colorful one with the new look!
