The Bata company has launched their latest Malaysia’s latest footwear debate which is their “Friendly to Everyone” sandals which an earlier creative advertisement from local brand Fipper’s line of Muslim-Friendly slipper was released in collaboration with TV personality and celebrity entrepreneur Neelofa. While Bata now has reintroduced its slip-on under the Power brand and its sandals have soft soles, lightweight, and cheaper for the wallet of the average Malaysian for RM39.99 only.
Compare to the Fipper launch, Neelofa whose real name is Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor has come under flak after many Malaysians accusing her of religious exploitation on social media and slippers from Fipper under Neelofa’s is RM79.90 while retails are between RM16.90 and RM49.0 in their Unisex collection.
