Bangladesh Ends Up Infecting his Friends after Visiting Them in Genting Highlands
According to the Health director-general, Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah where the Genting cluster where actually cause by a Bangladesh man who crossed state borders from Selangor to Genting Highlands to visit his friends and ended up infecting them. Currently, the lockdown under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) had been enforced in Amber Court, Ria Apartment, and Rumah Kongsi Kg Semaut in Bentong.
The cluster was reported to start in Kuala Lumpur and Pahang on 4 December which involves Titiwangsa and Bentong district with the index case of No 66,878 which was confirmed positive on 1 December via workplace screening. And on 9 December, the government decided to enforce the EMCO in the 3 locations in Bentong from 10 December to 23 December.
