Artist Dedicate Another Larger Mural Dedicated To Frontliner But Netizen Fear A 2nd Vandalism Attempt
Suhaimi Ali, the Terengganu born artist who made the headline last week after his mural was vandalized and it surprised Malaysian again with his another work of art with this round, a much larger art which holds the theme of all the National frontliners.
On his social media accounts, Suhaimi revealed that he began sketching the outline of his new piece on 13 July a week before his portraits of our national leaders at Shah Alam were disfigured ith red spray paints. Compare to his last artwork, this round it even required scaffolding to complete this piece.
Within a short timelapse, his final piece was uploaded to Suhaimi’s Facebook page yesterday, 22 July, taking him slightly over a week to accomplish the huge endeavor on his own. But netizen fear the vandalism attempt and concerned the need for increased security at the site.
