Flight can be very boring especially when it’s life without the Internet.
Here is some good new! AirAsia Is Now Offering Free WiFi
Now, you don’t have to read the in-flight magazine or and striking random conversations with strangers where AirAsia is now offering free WiFi but it would be selected flights!
What’s the big news? AirAsia has recently announced that it has started offering the service on ROKKI-enabled flights.
What is ROKKI? ROKKI is basically AirAsia’s in-flight WiFi that offers entertainment and Internet connectivity. At the moment, there are currently 44 AirAsia aircraft equipped with ROKKI.
Even so, there is a catch to this. This offer isn’t given to every passenger though. To allow the access to the Wifi, you would need to be an AirAsia BIG Member to enjoy the privilege.
All you need to do is just connect to a ROKKI hotspot and log in with their BIG accounts, which is a straightforward process. You will be entitled for a 2MB data.
What if you’re not a BIG member? No worry as all you need to do is to fork out some cash to stay connected and you will be able to connect to the Internet.
If you’re a BIG members and you need more than 2MB can also top up through the two plans.
Good news for you where you can now you can spam your family group chats with photos of random clouds and Tumblr-ish window seat shots in the air.
Let us know what you think of this services. Though with 2MB, there are limited things that you can do with it 🙁
