AirAsia Now Charges Counter Check-In Fees of RM30, While Self-Check In Still Remain Free

AirAsia is currently charging counter registration expenses of up to RM30 to urge travelers to utilize contactless registration techniques. Since 1 September, travelers are asked to register through AirAsia’s contactless booths, on its site, or portable application which are still free.

Something else, counter registration charges for residential flights are RM20 per individual and RM30 per individual for universal flights So for instance, in the event that you are voyaging locally with a gathering of four companions, it will cost an extra RM160 for a bring trip back. As per the site, the charges can be paid with money or Mastercard at the air terminal.

In an announcement, as per Reuters, AirAsia’s gathering head working official Javed Malik said he trusts the new charges will help “propel explorers to utilize the carrier’s interest in advanced innovation”.

Counter registration charges will be postponed for specific travelers and in the accompanying circumstances:

  • – Visitors who buy a seat redesign or other extra paid administrations at the registration counter

  • – Premium Flex and Flatbed visitors
  • – Honorary pathway visitors
  • – Visitors on movement warrant and government appointments
  • – Sky Marshals on the job

Charges will likewise be deferred if travelers experience a ‘framework mistake’ while checking in through the portable application, stand, or site. They will get a warning to continue to the registration counters.
