Actor Ng Man Tat’s Ashes Will be Brought Back to M’sia So He can Be Close with His Family
The late Hong Kong comedy superstar Richard Ng Man Tat’s ashes will be flown back to Malaysia following his body cremation in Hong Kong on 8 March. Ng told his younger brother Li Da that he wanted his ashes to be brought back to Malaysia so that he could be with his wife and children, and for the past 25 years, Ng called Malaysia his scond home where he was was married to Segamat-born Hou Shan Yan, who was the second runner-up of a beauty pageant, in 1996. Together, they share a daughter and a son, aged 25 and 18 respectively.
Ng, who is a 70 years old veteran actor succumbed to liver cancer on 27 February where he was surrounded by his family during his last hours before passing on. On TODAYonline reported that Chow was at Universal Funeral Parlour for nine minutes on Sunday. He left without speaking to reporters stationed outside the premise. Chow and Ng have a long history of acting together and their ability to complement each other’s character has earned them fame in the comedy scene.
Actors Louis Koo, Jackie Chan, Simon Yam, Nancy Sit, Roy Cheung, Julian Cheung, Anita Yuen, Wu Jing, Sandra Ng, Miriam Yeung, Adam Cheng, Gordon Lam, Teresa Mo, Evergreen Mak, and Fennie Yuen also did the same.
