9 Food Promos To Grab During National Day To Celebrate Together

As the 31 August is just around this week, it will be a great time for all to celebrate it with great food promotions. Check out these 9 greats deals if you have not much of travels-interstate planning this weekend.

1. Subway (Halal)

From 17 August till 31 August, Subway Malaysia is selling six cookies for RM6.30! That makes it only RM1.03 per cookie. The normal price is usually almost double that.

You can pick from any of their cookie flavours available. Psst… Double chocolate chip is the bomb.

The promotion is available at all Subway outlets in Malaysia, except for klia2, Senai International Airport, and Genting Highlands.

2. myBurgerLab (Pork-free)

What represents Malaysia better than some good ol’ nasi lemak?

myBurgerLab
has brought back its popular Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang burger, especially for this Hari Kebangsaan and Malaysia Day.

The burger is made with rendang and paired with sambal, homemade spiced pickles, and a juicy slab of fried chicken. Tastes so good, you’ll enter into a food coma.

You can pre-order online for self-pickup from now until 16 September.

3. ANTE (Non-halal)

During the colonial days, Hainan immigrants worked as cooks for British officers stationed in Malaya. To cater to their Western employers, these Hainanese chefs married their oriental culinary knowledge with European ingredients and condiments.

The result was the Hainanese pork chop with Worchester sauce and ketchup mixed with oyster and soy sauces!

For the whole month of August, ANTE is selling their version – a 300g cut of imported pork loin with a side of red cabbage slaw and a choice of mashed potatoes or onion-oiled rice at just RM26.90 a plate. Super worth it.

You can get it at all ANTE outlets in Malaysia while stocks last.

4. Sid’s Brownies (Pork-free)

Sid’s Brownies specialises in making delicious fudgy brownies that are baked fresh daily. Plus, they deliver all over Klang Valley.

In conjunction with this year’s Hari Kebangsaan, Sid’s Brownies is offering 15% off of any flavour you order for the rest of August.

You can order here.

5. Baskin-Robbins (Halal)

To celebrate Malaysia’s 63 years of independence, Baskin-Robbins is taking us back to our childhood days by selling roti ice cream!

For RM14.50, you can select either the Roti Ice Cream Froot or Roti Ice Cream Almond.

Or for RM15.50, you can build your own roti ice cream by selecting three ice cream flavours, add two wet toppings, and one dry topping.

The promotion is available now until 30 September.

6. Auntie Anne’s (Halal)

It’s difficult to resist Auntie Anne’s freshly baked, warm pretzels whenever we walk by its outlets. That comforting smell of bread baking… mmm.

To celebrate this Hari Kebangsaan, you can purchase two boxes of Auntie Anne’s ‘Happy Stix Together’ for just RM10.

There are five flavours to pick from:
– Chocolate Mint Stix
– Green Tea Stix
– Cinnamon Sugar Stix
– Sour Cream & Onion Stix
– Coffee Stix

The promotion is available now until 30 September.

7. Pizza Hut (Halal)

Combining the best of both worlds, Pizza Hut’s Nasi Lemak Pizza comes with crispy coconut chicken chunks and sambal, topped with condiments like peanuts, anchovies, and cucumber.

To celebrate 63 years of independence, the company is offering an RM6.30 discount with any a la carte purchase of its Nasi Lemak Pizza.

The flavour is only available for a limited time until 31 August.

8. Dunkin’ (Halal)

Available for a limited time only, Dunkin’ brought back its Onde-Onde flavour, which is topped with coconut flakes, gula Melaka, and salted caramel cream.

Not only that, but the dessert chain also added a new flavour to its menu: Apam Balik!

The Apam Balik doughnut comes with peanut butter chocolate topped with roasted peanuts, drizzled with chocolate sauce, and filled with sweet corn cream.

As a special edition, their Bendera flavour is now topped with banana chocolate frosting and coloured sprinkles instead of the usual white frosting.

9. TGI Fridays (Halal)

This month, TGI Fridays added a Malaysian twist to their dishes: Ayam Masak Merah Burger and Rendang Beef Ribs.

The Ayam Masak Merah Burger is made with a fried chicken thigh mixed with a dried chilli sambal sauce and topped with jelatah. As for the Rendang Beef Ribs, the meat is simmered in spicy rendang sauce and served with savoury rice and jelatah.

You can enjoy the meals from now until 31 August.
